Dr. Lia Ana Chebeleu believes that the practice of medicine is both a privilege and a great responsibility and she strives to provide expert neurological care with a patient-centered approach, addressing individual care needs with an emphasis on quality of life and wellbeing.

Dr. Chebeleu has always been fascinated by the advances in the field of neurology which allow for continuous improvement in patient care. She provides up-to-date diagnosis and treatment for a variety of neurological conditions and has special interests in peripheral neuropathies, neuromuscular disorders, headaches and optimizing modifiable risk factors for disease prevention. She is an attentive listener with a sincere desire to understand and help her patients. She wants to empower her patients to actively participate in decisions regarding their treatment while respecting their values and preferences. She is a compassionate, thorough, and skillful physician with very high ethical standards.

Dr. Chebeleu began her medical career with a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Austin, Texas followed by a second residency in Neurology at the University of Texas Southwestern where she served as chief resident. Then she completed a Clinical Neurophysiology/Neuromuscular fellowship in Salt Lake City at the University of Utah. After coming to Utah, she fell in love with the beautiful mountains and has called this home ever since. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family: skiing, hiking, biking, and photography.
